Growing Little Lady

So...read after the pics!! ..MOM!!

So much has been going on lately and I just have to say that I am soooo sleepy! We have gone here and there...and everywhere! Marlee has grown up so much during our travels and has gotten to see so many new things and meet new people. We are home now and have been for the last week, but I still have the "do-nothings". I am so sleepy! Marlee is the complete opposite...she is ready to roll. She has been such a fish this summer. We have gone through three pools so far, and she LOVED the pool at her grandma's in Indiana. She truly has no fear and just wants to jump right in. I am happy she isn't a scared-e cat, but it makes me a nervous wreck!

She has learned so much and is so smart! I know I have said it before...or all the time, but it is so cool to see what she does next each day. You only have to say a word once and she remembers it...most of the time. She can count to five, she knows a few of her shapes, she knows a couple of colors, and the best thing of all is she knows how to act like a kid. I like for her to learn, but I like more that she plays like a normal kid. I have seen some parents who care more that their kids are smarter than everyone else s'. She loves her barbies, babies, and now horses. She is starting to do that whole imaginary play stuff. She will have a barbie in each hand and walk them on the furniture. She also lays her babies out and then picks one up and tries to feed it, then she kisses them, and hugs them. She will be a great big sister one day! fingers crossed! She loves grapes, yogurt, and "cackers". Another interesting thing is that she is very particular about her blanket. She has a pink blanket that she sleeps with and carries around with her most places. It is her "kanke". It has to lay on her lap perfect and flat...if it doesn't or gets messed up, she gets really upset and cries out "kanke..kanke". She also likes it wrapped around her body like a towel or something. It is sweet, but when she freaks out about it...

Zachary's school seems to be going well. He doesn't really tell me much...he can't I don't think, but he is doing so well on his tests and all other work. I am so proud of him! We still don't know where we are going and that is a bit stressful. we weren't even really thinking about it until other guys in his class got orders. So it should be soon! We will keep you all updated! Coming next....Marlee's 2nd birthday.
