Mom's week

Well it is Friday here in lovely Hermersberg. It was a nice day for the most part. I drove my mom to the airport this morning for her trip back home. She was here for a week, but it went by soooo fast. The visit was nice. I was excited for my mom to meet our sweet girl, but I wasn't sure how Marlee would react to her. After my mom got off the plane and we met up with her, Marlee was in her arms in no time. My mom started off slow because she didn't want to freak out. Marlee was ready! She smiled as soon as we saw her and when my mom reached for her, Marlee reached back! I was so thrilled because she is at such a bashful age right now. She doesn't reach back to anyone really. It is like they have known each other. So, we hung out and went to a few places. We also went to an old Fort in France. It apparently was a holiday there the day we went, so it wasn't open. We did, however, get to walk around it. It was cool to look around and I took a few pics. Overall, it was nice. Next, Zach's dad comes into town. I hope to have some more pics to post then. My eyes are heavy now, and I feel my words are scattered.....so, until next time...
