Fun!!

So, Marlee looked so comfortable this morning. I know she is probably way too big for this little bouncer, but I thought..."what the heck"....she can sit in it and drink her morning bottle. After she was done I figured it was a lazy Sunday. I couldn't help but take some pics and a little video. She looks like such a big girl in this video and not like a 9 month old.

So this next video is of Marlee actually crawling and not scooting. She kind of drags one of her legs sometimes so it looks a lot cuter I think.

So, I have this Thumb Drum that I broke out the other day. She absolutely loves this thing. Zach wanted to record her laugh. It is the sweetest laugh ever! She tries to strum it herself and when she succeeds the smile and laughter is contagious! We love her so.

We had a busy weekend. Friday Marlee and I went to Tavin's for a play date. They had a good time. Tavin tried to use her to pull up on and they both grabbed for the other's pacifer. It was fun. Not to mention I had some good pasta and pizza. It had been a LONG while since I have had that. Saturday we went to the Neunkirchen Zoo. It was neat. Although, looking at the animals I couldn't help but feel sorry for them. I just wanted to touch them and learn from them. I know that sounds strange, but just being so close to something so curious and different and wild was really cool. When I was younger and went to the zoo I never thought about it. They just looked so trapped and sad. I wanted to just let them all loose. Some of the following pictures are from the weekend. Our battery in the camera died 30 mintues after we got there!!! Why does that always happen to us ??? Enjoy!

Shhttuuff

We cannot keep these things on her face!

A little family fun time!

Don King Hair! I had put her hair up and when I took it down...it still wouldn't go down!

Our little monkey

She likes to just sit and watch her morning video just like this. She even kicks her little feet! She isn't a baby anymore that's for sure.

Precious baby!

Spaghetti!!

Last night Marlee had spaghetti for the first time! She did so great! I gave her carrots as well because she loves them so much! We have been so busy lately. The weather is such a tease. One day it is sunny and nice, then the next week is rainy and cold. We have done a lot of running around and believe it or not already trying to figure stuff out for when we leave next year. We know it will be here before we know it. We went to Trier this weekend with our friends the Bousloughs. It was really cool. So many cool buildings and of all places the mall was the most confusing. We spent 10 minutes trying to find each other because we took different elevators. The architecture was beautiful for sure. Our company was terrific, but unfortunately Marlee didn't get an afternoon nap and she was not a happy camper for a little bit. She survived thank goodness. We had a great time! About 40 minutes after we left I realized I forgot my purse! I was so upset because my whole life was in that thing! It was really late and it is an hour drive. So, we had to drive all the way back on Sunday....it wasn't bad and it got us out of the house and up and about because it was such a nice day. Marlee got to see Tavin for a few more minutes.
Marlee also began pulling herself up this weekend and sitting up on her own! It is very exciting. We were on skype with my dad and then she just sat up from being on her belly! We also got a baby monitor this weekend so we could put her in her own room.......FINALLY! eh...I say that like I have been waiting for it, but truthfully....I am not sure I am ready!! Oh well it isn't about me... The monitor is awesome! Now I can see what she does while she is playing in her crib. It is like a movie and while she is awake I find if difficult to pull away from the screen! She sits up and tries to pull up on her crib rails! I never knew! She still doesn't quite crawl yet, but there is no lack of trying. She is constantly rocking back and forth. She will get there eventually. Another thing she loves to do is open the door to whichever room we are going into. I will turn the handle and she pushes with that sweet little hand. You can tell she is so proud of herself every time.
The days are getting longer now and it is so nice to see the sun more often. Our grass needs mowing, flowers need to be planted, moss needs to be....well...de-mossed, and the car needs to be washed again. I have so much to do and I enjoy that actually. Things are going so great! We are having so much fun!
