Lazy Tuesday...

So today is my day off from working out....unfortunately I feel like I was extremely lazy! I could have worked out, but I made myself take the day off. Tonight, however, I did my own little circuit training I guess you could say. I just wanted to do something to get the heart rate up. A little this, a little that. Marlee has been keeping me more busy each and every day. She is our little curious George. She wants to check out everything. She is such a sweet girl. Now, don't get me wrong she does have a little attitude sometimes, but even that is sweet. She is growing so fast, and our time here seems to be coming to an end even faster. We still have a year I suppose, but we are closer than we were yesterday! I still wish we could have visitors before we leave, but our area isn't that entertaining and I know people want to see Germany while they are here and not just "see" Germany. I am hoping we can get someone over here for Marlee's first birthday. That would be FANTASTIC I think. Tickets are way too expensive it seems and the economy isn't ideal right now, but we will wait and see.

7 months and all that Jazz!

Catchy title, eh?? Well, today Miss Marlee is 7 months old! She is napping longer these days and still sleeping through the night...YAY! She does, however, get up at 615am, but I am not complaining. She continues to grow by leaps and bounds, and continues to amaze Zachary and I each and every day! She is getting better about reading stories at night before bedtime. She now sits quietly while I read instead of wriggling around. She is so smart and we couldnt' be more proud!

Things with us are great! We are still exercising and I am on my way to losing my baby weight. I still have a long way to go, but the fact I have stuck to it longer than two weeks is a feat in itself for sure. It seems like our time here is quickly coming to an end even though we have a year left. Let's hope we get to come back stateside! I am not looking forward to the chaos of a PCS...believe me it will not be fun, but regardless we will be able to be around family if not just for a while so they can meet this sunshine in our lives named Marlee!

Oscar got a haircut this weekend...he is not happy about it. He had some mattes and needed to be transformed. I think I saw a tear in his eye when we were done... It will grow back...I hope!

6 Month update

Marlee's 6 month check up was a little late, but nevertheless... Military docs have way too many children over here. Anyway, my sweet babe is 27 3/4 in long and 19.3 lbs! She is 97% for height...75% for weight....and 50% for head! She is a growing girl and doing so well! Wish I had more time...Till next time

Still Going Strong!

Well the last few days have been 40 and 45 min on the elliptical and doing pushups and situps as well! Not sure about yall, but I am PROUD of myself. I feel good and stronger. I am still within my two week of getting bored period...so we will really celebrate at 30 days of exercising! Stay tuned!
